Where It All Started
Growing up in Cleveland, you had two choices: get in trouble or play sports. Like most kids, I did a bit of both. But sports really kept me grounded.
I fell in love with the discipline, the strategy, and working toward something bigger than myself. That obsession turned into breaking weightlifting records, playing college football, and eventually playing basketball overseas.
However, the jersey eventually comes off, and this mentality of striving for excellence becomes 2nd nature.
When I came back to the States, I had a hunger. A curiosity. A willingness to try, fail, and learn.
It was then that I became a student of the game of business, immersing myself in everything I could about sales, marketing, and branding.
Soon after, I found my first mentor—a man who had helped scale Salesforce to $100M through outbound sales systems. His guidance gave me the confidence to step into entrepreneurship, even without credentials.
I launched my first consulting company and quickly found the power of strong, impactful offers.
The strategies I created were helping businesses grow. And that lit a fire in me.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but God was leading me toward my greater purpose.
Eventually, I found myself working with one of the most well known personal development companies in the world, helping scale larger than life brands like Tony Robbins, Grant Cardone, Gary V, Daymond John, Russell Brunson, and Robert Kiyosaki. I wasn’t just watching from the sidelines; I was learning in real time while helping them grow. That’s where I witnessed the true power of the stage. People cried, healed, and transformed right in front of me.
It was authentic and impactful.
I didn’t want to just be in the room
—I wanted to lead it.
So I started speaking more. Toastmasters, podcasts, private masterminds, conferences, and retreats.
And then came the moment that changed everything: my TEDx talk.
It was called Finding Your Life’s Purpose. Because isn’t that what we’re all really after? More meaning. More clarity. More impact. That talk went on to reach over 3 million people.
Today, that’s what I help others do—find their voice, live their calling, and turn their story into a message the world can’t ignore.
Look, I was never the fastest. Never the strongest. I even had a speech impediment as a kid. But I’ve always had two things that I had control over— work ethic and a positive attitude. My discipline, my mindset, and my faith are what allow me to serve others at the highest level, whether that’s through business consulting, speaking, or one-on-one coaching.
